The Alice Springs Aeromodellers club flies every Sunday morning and at other times also. Members with appropriate qualifications (MAAA wings) can fly at any time.

We occasionally hold friendly competitions such as pylon racing, acrobatic flying, and fun flying events. Most types of aeromodelling are catered for, as reflected by the interests of the current membership. While radio control, fixed-wing, sport, glow or petrol-power models are the most prevalent models flown, we see an increasing number of 3D flyers, electric-powered models, and winch-launched or electric-assisted gliders. Almost ready to fly (ARF) models are currently the most popular choice, though some members fly models that they have either built from scratch or from a kit. The events are integrated in to the Sunday flying sessions without precluding casual flying activities. Members can use Pedlar Field at anytime during the week and without the worry of disturbing neighbours in our convenient, yet isolated

During the year there are several club get-togethers, including BBQs at the club, festive dinners. indoor flying inside a hangar at the airport, night flying at Pedlar Field with illuminated model aeroplanes, working bees to improve facilities and to mow the area surrounding the runway.

This picturesque site is in Willow Grove Vic located at Blue Rock Dam, giving us access to flying R.C Land based and float Planes.

The main aim of the club is to create interest in aviation in general and radio controlled models in particular, and to promote friendship and fellowship between the members. It is an excellent activity for the young and not so young.
The Club holds meetings in Ballarat on the 4th Wednesday of each month commencing at 7:30PM where members discuss models, building techniques etc, and of course deal with the usual business that confronts all clubs. In addition the club hosts annual flying days with other clubs and visits other clubs on a regular basis. We hold an annual display on the first Sunday in April of each year, which is open to the public.
Club members are able to provide an abundance of information about the hobby and we welcome all new members. Importantly, learning to fly costs nothing but time and patience, once the modeler is equipped with an aircraft and radio gear. Being a member of a club provides the modeler with a place to fly, companionship and insurance cover should the model inadvertently get out of control and cause property damage or personal injury.

At Barossa Valley Model Aero Club (BVMAC), we pride ourselves inhe most picturesque and friendly flying field in Northern Adelaide. Situated on Koch Road, Between Rowland Flat and Tanunda in the prestigious Barossa Valley, there is no shortage of serenity to absorb.

The Club was established in late 2007 and a field was leased from the Shire of Dardanup at the beginning of 2008. Facilities at the field are now well established with the addition of a Club house and toilet in 2010. The Macquarie Model Soaring Club offers a relaxed flying environment for flying electric only model aircraft. Our club provides help for beginners and always welcomes new members. The Namadgi Sports Flyers Club (NSFC) is a club for RC Aero modellers located in a picturesque rural setting, close to the Namadgi National Park on the southern outskirts of Canberra. We are affiliated with the Model Aeronautical Association of Australia and provide facilities for flying both helicopters and fixed wing models. 

Our most popular flying day is Sunday however, weather permitting, you are likely to find a few lucky souls flying at our Tharwa field on most week days. Visitors heading for the Namadgi National Park frequently pause on their journey to enjoy the sight. Our club offers both new and experienced pilots a great environment where you can share with others your interests of RC helicopters. Some of Australia's top pilots are members of the Perth RCHeli Club.

Phoenix Flyers of Launceston Club was established in 1979 and has occupied its current location at Panshanger Estate, Longford TAS, since 1987. The club has approximately 60 members (including Associates and Social members) and is affiliated with the Tasmanian Model Aeronautical Association (TMAA). This affiliation with the TMAA, and the club facilities at Longford, enable the club to provide a safe and enjoyable way to learn and participate in the hobby of aero-modelling and flying.

The Club caters for most codes of flying including powered fixed wing planes, gliders, helicopters and jets. The Club has experienced pilots and instructors on hand to offer advice to newcomers on getting started in the hobby.  The Club instructors can also carry out proficiency testing for pilots to gain their “Bronze Wings” and beyond. The Club also has several experienced model builders who are happy to assist with advice for those looking to “scratch-build” a model. The field and facilities are available 7 days a week with Sunday generally a club day with a BBQ lunch on most Sundays.

Phoenix Model Aero Club provides a friendly place for people to fly radio-controlled model aircraft, just outside Cooma town in the Monaro district, about 1 hour south of Canberra.

IC and and electric-powered models are both welcome. The club field is an enormous nearly-empty paddock, with gentle hills in the far distance, surrounded by small tussocky grass for gentle out-landings.

PAMAC has been in operation almost continuously since the late 50′s, initially with free-flight models, and later with radio control. Member’s models now cover the entire spectrum from gliders, planes, jets, helicopters and kites, and a few cars and bikes occasionally too! Sydney Radio Control Society Inc., (SRCS) is one of a number of radio control aircraft clubs in the Sydney area. Situated in a spectacular location by the Hawkesbury River, members can fly at the Club field 7 days a week, and avail themselves of facilities including barbeques, toilets, a shaded area as well as seats and a regularly mown 150 metre long landing strip.

SRCS has a number of qualified instructors who can provide basic tuition on aircraft & helicopter models. There are also MAAA Large and Giant Model Inspectors for Fixed and Rotary wing aircraft including with turbine endorsements. A separate hovering area is available for initial helicopter practice.

Potential members and visitors are very welcome, when club members are flying. Visitors are, of course, not allowed to access the site or fly if club members are not present, so it is advisable to phone before going.

Block numbers are very unreliable on Wisemans Ferry Road but from Sydney's Hill's district simply follow Old Northern Road until you get to Wisemans Ferry. Take Wisemans Ferry across the river and turn right off the ferry. You are now on Wisemans Ferry Road. Follow this for about 9 km and our field in on the right, or use the map on our web page.
