Trainee Pilot Logbooks

In previous years the MAAA has provided trainee log-books for those just starting out in the sport. These are currently in the process of being updated, but a PDF version is available for those who are keen to get started.

Each booklet covers a variety of topics including basic rules and regulations of flight areas, pre-flight training, single to dual-stick transition, stall and recovery techniques and much more.

Chuck Gliders

Chuck Gliders are a great promotional tool for Clubs to attract new members and spark the interest of the next generation.

Lightweight, fun to fly and easy to handle, the Chuck Gliders are an enjoyable first look into the world of aeromodelling.

The MAAA is currently organising gliders to be sent to each State Association. Clubs are encouraged to reach out if you have an upcoming event, static display, fun fly or other promotional event and would like gliders to hand out.  There is no cost to clubs for the gliders, but numbers are limited (postage costs are at the discretion of your State).
