70th National Model Aircraft Championships 

The New South Wales Free Flight Society in conjunction with the host club, the West Wyalong Model Aero Club, are pleased to host the 70 th National Model Aircraft Championships.

Other bodies proud to be associated with the 70th National Championships include the New South Wales Free Flight Club and the Coogee/Bronte Aero Technicians Society, Victorian Miniature Pylon Racing Association, NSW Scale Aircraft Association, NSW Pattern Flyers Inc, Control Line Aircraft Society and Society of Antique Modellers.

The 70th National Championships will feature more than 84 events across eight days at five sites situated within 15 minutes of West Wyalong from 23 April to 30 April 2018.

From aerobatics to graceful gliders, replica scale models to exciting control line combat, the Championships will have something for everyone, from novice flyers to the most experienced.

The Championships are a fantastic opportunity for people to learn more about the sport. The 2018 event will showcase the best in Radio Control, Control Line, Free Flight and Indoor flying.

The MAAA 70th National Model Aircraft Championships will occur from 23 April to 30 April 2018 at West Wyalong. All flying sites will be located within a 15 minute drive of West Wyalong.

The Opening Ceremony will occur on Monday Night, 23 April, 2018 from 6:00pm-6:30pm which will be followed by RC indoor (free to all MAAA members).

Other social events include a Swap Meet & Auction, the Night Scramble BBQ (Sat 28 April) and a Celebration Dinner at the WW Services & Citizens Club (Mon 30 April).
